Founded by avid anglers and lovers of the outdoors, our Fishing Lodge was born out of a deep reverence for Patagonia's natural beauty and a desire to share its treasures with kindred spirits. With each cast and every expedition, we've forged connections with fellow fishing enthusiasts and introduced countless souls to the magic of Coyhaique's waters.

At the heart of our lodge lies a passion for the art of fly fishing. Our expert guides are not only skilled in angling techniques but are also stewards of the environment, ensuring that our practices remain sustainable and respectful of the delicate ecosystem.

At the heart of our operation are Claudio and Gaston, the visionary owners who lead our guide team. With an innate familiarity with the local waters, they embody a youthful vigor, a relentless work ethic, and a genuine passion for their craft — no challenge too great, no angler too inexperienced.

Joining them are a distinguished group of native Chilean and American guides, each a master in the art of fly fishing, alongside hosts and guides versed in hiking, kayaking and cultural tours — all expertly guided by our enthusiastic bilingual companions.

What sets us apart is the enduring relationships we build with our cherished guests. Unlike other fishing lodges in Patagonia, our clients return year after year, reserving their preferred weeks well in advance — you're not just a guest, you're part of our extended family.

Indulge in the pinnacle of fly fishing excellence amidst the awe-inspiring landscapes of Chilean Patagonia. Our All-Inclusive one-week packages offer 6 days and 7 nights of unparalleled lodging, daily fishing excursions led by bilingual guides, and seamless transportation on land and water.

Our Waters

Rio Simpson

Fishes like a classic Montana freestone with significant caddis and mayfly hatches. Browns and rainbows average 14 to 22 inches, with trout up to 30 inches on record.

Rio Ñirehuao

Perhaps the area's most famous fishery — a mid-sized freestone wading stream renowned for fantastic summer hopper fishing for wild brown trout, 12 to 24+ inches.

Rio Coyhaique

The lodge property has a mile of river frontage plus private access to miles of easy wading, with plentiful small to mid-sized rainbow and brown trout.

Rio Huemules

A wide, sandy-bottomed river allowing anglers to wade the middle and fish for large browns hiding in undercut banks, with deep pools holding big fish that chase streamers.

Rio Emperador Guillermo

One of the jewels of the area, with many pools and riffles loaded with hungry trout averaging 12 to 16 inches.

Rio Mañihuales

A bit of everything — big trout, a healthy population of both brown and rainbow trout, and a strong run of king salmon, often surrendering fish over 20 inches.

Spring Creeks

High-country spring creeks near the Argentine border, with a landscape more typical of the arid pampas — great walk-and-wade fishing for large fish in small, well-rested waters.

Stillwaters

A great many highly productive lakes within easy reach of the lodge — beautiful, private, and holding trophy rainbows and/or browns, most often sight-fished with large dry flies.
