Hiking is the best way to really discover this pristine part of Patagonia. During this program, you will get to hike some of the jewels of the Aysén region, including The Marble Caves and Cerro Castillo.We also selected for you uncrowded, secret paths leading to breathtaking sceneries.



Day 1: Balmaceda / Coyhaique
Coyhaique River Lodge staff will meet guests at the regional airport of Balmaceda. Guests will be driven to the lodge in Coyhaique on the banks of the Coyhaique river. Welcome cocktail and lunch will be waiting at the lodge.
Day 2 :
Easy first day hiking at the Dos Lagunas Monument. (2,5 to 4 hrs hike)
Day 3:
A full day of on top of Coyhaique, the Fraile ́s antena. (4 to 5 hrs hike approx.)
Day 4:
On your fourth day, things get a little more challenging with the hike to the Cerro Castillo south glacier. (5 to 7 hrs hike.)
Day5:
Rest day by driving to the Marbles Caves – a long day but definitively worthy.
Day 6:
Discover the Huemules National Reserve and its unspoiled fauna and flora. You ́ll aim to summit the Cordillerano hill top. (2 to 6 hrs hike).
Day 7:
Finish your week of amazement by a full day long hike rewarded by the view of two different blue lakes. (4 to 6 hrs hike.)
Day 8: Coyhaique / Balmaceda / Santiago
Breakfast then choice of either spending the morning fishing, or go into town and shop for some, arts and crafts of the region. Lunch will be offered at the Lodge. Transport to Balmaceda airport where guests will be flown back to Santiago in time to connect with their international flight.
